This summer is flying by, but every minute has been taken up with friends, family, and lot's of fun! This summer started off with a random trip to Florida, all work- no play unfortunately. It was so fun to go visit that area- I'd never been there before. Florida was so beautiful, I can't wait to someday go back- haha but this time all play! About a week after that, my parents flew into New York to celebrate their anniversary! I love to see how much they're still so much in love ;) That was such a great week. I was fortunate enough to get a few work days off and also the weekend to play with them. I have to admit, they were in way better shape than I was- they wore me out after the first day! It was fun to see a lot of the sites that I have never been to, and also to introduce them to my world. It was such a blessing to be able to have them there- it was definitely an experience I'll always remember.

A couple of weeks later Ken came to see me with her aunt Lolo! They are some of the sweetest people I know. It was so fun exploring the city again with them. The awesome thing about NYC is that there are always new things to see and explore. We got to do some fun things that were a little bit different than what I did with my parents- both were incredible weeks! Ken was in town for 9 days but unfortunately the day she arrived, my office asked me to fly to Puerto Rico for a few days to take care of some work there. Luckily we were able to squeeze it in to about a day and a half. So I basically just missed one night with Ken and her aunt, rather than what could have been several. It was another all work no play trip, but O it was such a gorgeous place! I can't wait to someday go back. . . and actually be able to lay out on that beautiful white beach, and wade in that crisp, turquoise water. It was certainly an experience that I will never forget. The people there were so kind, and those that I worked with could not have been more genuine. They were awesome at humoring me with my weak Spanish, but I helped them practice some of their English too! We worked very hard while I was there, but had lots of fun conversing with each other, and learning about each of our fascinating worlds, discussing their similarities, as well as their differences.
I arrived home with but a few more fun days to spend with Ken and her aunt. They left Tuesday and that Thursday I flew out here- to Utah, for my little sister's wedding! I'll be here until the day after her reception, but we've already done so much fun stuff since I've been here! I went to her bridal shower, I was able to go to my family's entire church and hear Brit give his awesome talk! Monday we went and did lots of shopping- it was good one on one time with Tara, and that night got to watch Tara perform in Annie, with our Aunt Angie. Yesterday I got 4 wisdom teeth pulled! My trip so far’s been a riot- and Tara's not even married yet! I'm so excited for her, and it's so much fun seeing them get so excited too!
Well there’s my summer as of yet. . . but I'm sure there will be lots more to come. . . I know this weekend for sure! Don't worry- I won't leave out any of the details for ya;)
